Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to browse Oso3DPrints and place a custom order. Here is where we stand, honestly, and how to tell us when we get it wrong.
Our commitment
Oso3DPrints is a two-person studio. We build and maintain this site ourselves, and we treat accessibility as part of doing that properly — not as a box to tick. If any part of this site stops you from finding what you need or from asking us for a custom print, that is a fault on our side and we want to hear about it.
The standard we work to
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our benchmark. The Americans with Disabilities Act does not currently set a specific technical standard for private businesses' websites, so WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard we have chosen to hold ourselves to.
Where we stand
This site is substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That means most of the site meets the standard, and we know about the exceptions listed below. This assessment is our own review, carried out on 22 August 2026 — it has not been audited by an outside firm.
What we have done
- Every page can be navigated by keyboard alone, with a “skip to main content” link and a clearly visible focus outline.
- Every page declares its language, uses one main heading, and marks up its main content region so screen readers can jump straight to it.
- All images carry alternative text, and purely decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers rather than described.
- Body text meets or exceeds the 4.5:1 contrast minimum. Where our brand gold was too light to read as text, we use a darker amber instead.
- The scrolling banner and the “live now” indicator stop moving for anyone whose device asks for reduced motion.
- The custom order form is a plain HTML form with a visible label on every field, error messages in text, and no time limit.
Known limitations
We would rather tell you about these than let you find them:
- Third-party destinations. Links out to TikTok and Discord lead to services we do not build or control, and we cannot guarantee their accessibility.
- The backup order form. If our own form will not load, we offer a Google Form as a fallback. That form is Google's, and its accessibility is theirs.
- Customer reviews. Reviews are loaded onto the page after it opens. If that request fails, the section will be empty rather than explaining itself.
- No independent audit. Everything here is self-assessed. We have not commissioned a formal third-party evaluation, and we have not tested with every combination of screen reader and browser.
Tell us when something does not work
Email [email protected] and put “Accessibility” in the subject. Tell us the page and what happened — you do not need to know the technical name for it. We aim to reply within three business days.
If something on this site is blocking an order you want to place, say so in the email and we will simply take the order by email instead. You should not have to fight a website to buy from us.
